Hjørring Municipality: Dalux implementation exceeds all expectations

Hjørring Municipality has chosen to implement Dalux’s Facility Management system.  Prior to deciding on which FM system to use, the municipality conducted a market dialogue with broad internal partcipation down to service level employees.  It was important to Hjørrring Municipality that the syste chosen had a high level of user-friendliness and would be successful out on the field.

Hjørring Municipality has teamed up with Dalux throughout the whole process.  Dalux has been able to provide the municipality with clear instructions in order to provide service managers with a thorough review of the modules in DaluxFM and the apps they must use in their everyday work.  Dalux is very positive about the cooperation with Hjørring Municpality and is impressed by the rapid and effective implementation seen so far.

14,000 employees of the Danish Police can download with DaluxFM’s HelpDesk on their mobile device. With few clicks on the phone, all police employees can now report everything from missing papers to setting up a whiteboard and low coolant in a police car.

“Many had the feeling that the service wokers were far away and that it was difficult to report issues. With the new system, we moved assignments closer to the employees. We want to inform users as best ask possible by bringing information closer to them.  It is our experience that frustration and misunderstandings can occur when users are not sufficiently informed about the level of service they can expect.  At the same time, it creates peace of mine when users can see that a task has been reported and when they can exepct it to be resolved.”

Region Zealand chooses DaluxFM

Region Zealand and Dalux have just entered into an agreement to use DaluxFM in all the region’s 650,000 m2 properties. The region will use DaluxFM to handle tasks in operation and maintenance, plant registration, preventive maintenance, as well as on-time land management with CAD and BIM models, and much more. After looking closely at several other FM systems, Region Zealand chose Dalux as their final choice.

“In the evaluation of the tenders, we decided that user-friendliness should weigh the highest. We want the FM solution to reach specific users in the region, where user friendliness and simplicity are crucial for whether they are good to use it on a daily basis.  The FM system should not require long courses.  We considered that Dalux was the most user-friendly FM system.  A big plus in the assessment was their mobile apps.  Here we could really see our need for the FM system to be fully developed and used mobile on site by the staff on their own properties.

Lejre Municipality selects DaluxFM

Following a close look at the market for FM systems, Lejre Municipality selected DaluxFM to manage their properties and operations. Before introducing Dalux, Lejre Municipality handled all of their operating tasks and property portfolio in a spreadsheet, which made the management of tasks and portfolio difficult. 10 systems were thoroughly tested by Jette Foget, who has been at the forefront of selecting which facility management system to adopt. Lejre Municipality has chosen the DaluxFM HelpDesk to report errors and deficiencies and to deliver central tasks to the corresponding actors.  

“Lejre Municipality has chosen to invest in DaluxFM to get a Helpdesk system for the registration of property maintenance tasks and a digital system for the general management of operational tasks in the property department.  The advantage of a digital system is that we facilitate citizens and users’ ability to contact us and report their problems as concretely as possible – and we save a lot of administrative time, because the cases are clearer from the start.  At the same time, optimization of the workflow helps us maintain the value of our buildings in our location of Lejre Municipality.”

With limited funding, Jette has digitized the central operating organization.  Lejre Municipality’s suppliers are all implemented into DaluxFM and receive their work orders directly on their smartphones or tablets
