Over 200 users from around the world participated in Dalux Build User Day at BLOX. We are very honored that so many construction professionals choose to be a part of the one-day conference and the pre-event. The pre-event took place the night before our User Day at BLOX rooftop where almost 100 customers were gathered for mingle and drinks.
Both days were filled with good talks, inputs and positive discussions about Dalux’ products.
During the Dalux User Day, international speakers from ZÜBLIN Denmark, Veidekke Norway, NCC Sweden, Losinger Marazzi – Bouygues Construction Switzerland and Willmott Dixon United Kingdom gave inspiring speeches about their hands-on experience on how to benefit the most from the Dalux software, BIM, and other technologies in the construction industry.
Lisbet Qvist from ZÜBLIN started the day with a motivating speech about the integration of digital tools and told how Dalux quality management helped to include the whole team while building BLOX.
“Giving our site manager a tablet, saved him hours a week just because he didn’t have to go back to the office. Our purpose with using Dalux was to get the site managers back on site where they make a difference.” – Lisbet Qvist, Züblin.
Shortly after Eirik Kristensen from Veidekke focused on how the company got everyone onboard, while Magnus from NCC shared the inspiring journey NCC has gone through as they transformed the company from paper to digital and involved the subs.
“By using Dalux for quality control on the new courthouse in Lund, we saved hours a week compared to traditional methods. What before could take an hour to follow up, now took five minutes!”- Magnus Osbäck, NCC.
Dalux’ new features and roadmap were presented by Bent Dalgaard, Dalux CTO. This started a good discussion with interesting inputs from the participants on how to improve the new features before release.
In the afternoon, Mathias Albert and Andreas Faessler from Losinger Marazzi – Boygues Construction gave their hands-on experience on how Dalux had been used at the VORTEX project. Andrew Gamblen from Willmott Dixon gave the last speech and focused on the future of digitalization.
“If we want technology to take us to a workerless construction site in a foreseeable future, we need to start from where we stand right now. To adopt new software, it needs to be easier to use than the current way or working. Use software that is simple and focused on the end-user!” – Andrew Gamblen, Willmott Dixon.
The day ended with cava, beers and we got to know our costumers even better. Thanks to all who participated and made the day a success!
