PORR is delivering a large-scale data center in Frankfurt that will serve as a critical hub for international data flows across Central and Eastern Europe. From prefabrication at scale and a lean program of more than 5,000 activities to digital quality and safety processes, the project brings established construction best practices together from the very beginning. A large portion of the installations are prefabricated and assembled off-site, helping the team maintain progress, safety, and quality on a constrained urban site. Dalux serves as the backbone of the project, connecting BIM models, inspection and test plans, permits to work, site logistics, documentation, and teams from different countries and companies in one environment. Real-time quality sign-offs, 360° site documentation, and daily logs also provide a clear record of progress and how the building has been constructed. The project provides a model for how complex data center projects can be delivered in a more connected and coordinated way.
