A new 16,000 m² specialist care facility is being built alongside an existing operational hospital, providing modern, energy-efficient infrastructure for patients with specialized care needs in Turku, Finland. Delivering a complex healthcare facility requires input from doctors, nurses, technical specialists, and equipment operators. BIM models help bring these different perspectives into the design process, while Dalux Box gives teams access to up-to-date models, drawings, and design changes throughout construction. 360° documentation is also used to capture elements that will eventually be hidden above ceilings, inside walls, and within shafts, creating a detailed visual record of the building.
