OHLA Perú

Centro de Salud Chiquián

Located at the foot of the Andes Mountains at 3,300 meters above sea level, the Chiquián Health Center project is bringing essential healthcare infrastructure to a remote community far from Peru’s capital. BIM and Dalux are being used across the project to connect the technical office with teams on-site. Through a common data environment, safety, quality, planning, engineering, and construction teams can work from the same source of information, helping reduce rework, improve coordination, and accelerate construction. 360° photos provide a visual record of progress while allowing teams to identify issues and create tasks directly from the captured site information. Communication and observations can then be assigned directly to the responsible person, helping reduce the steps needed to resolve issues. Beyond construction, the project is already contributing to new businesses and development in the surrounding area and, once complete, will give local families access to healthcare without having to travel long distances.
