The LKR Innovation House in Denmark is redefining sustainable construction and innovation by directly addressing climate change through innovative building practices. Repurposing an existing 9,500 m² timber structure and expanding it into a 14,000 m² innovation hub, the project demonstrates how construction techniques can reduce environmental impact without compromising modern design. Originally built in 1995, the structure has been transformed through the reuse of materials, lowering the carbon footprint, while creating a modern, healthy workplace with a focus on daylight and fresh air. With Dalux, all project stakeholders were able to monitor developments and challenges in real time, ensuring a transparent and collaborative process.
