Beneath the River Elbe, this 5.2-kilometer tunnel is a key driver in Germany’s energy transition. ElbX is a unique project that enables the installation of six 525kV HVDC cables under the river, designed for a rail-bound maintenance vehicle. This tunnel paves the way for a climate-neutral and secure and efficient energy supply, representing a major leap forward for both the construction and energy sector. To meet the demands of such a dynamic project, the team implemented Dalux to streamline collaboration across planning and execution and showed how consistent use of the platform can support all phases of an infrastructure project.
