The expansion of the Valdebebas ERAR represents not only a significant technical upgrade but also a strong commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and urban resilience. Designed to treat an average flow of 50,400 cubic meters of wastewater, the facility will serve approximately 150,000 residents. One of the most innovative aspects of the project is the integration of anaerobic digesters, which enables the generation of renewable energy from biogas and treated sludge. Dalux has played a key role in streamlining project management by centralizing information within the BIM model, enhancing collaboration among all stakeholders, and ensuring efficient coordination in a highly complex environment.
