The Second Track project between Divača and Koper is the largest infrastructure project in Slovenia, creating a new railway connection to increase capacity and improve access between the Port of Koper and Central Europe. With 75% of the route running through tunnels and up to 14 construction sites operating simultaneously, the scale and complexity of the project requires large amounts of information to be coordinated across teams using Dalux. During tunneling alone, 99 previously unknown caves were discovered, with documentation, measurements, and mapping of these stored in the platform. Dalux serves as the project’s common data environment, bringing together more than 100,000 documents, 15,000 plans, and 1,800 models alongside field data, point clouds, and drone captures.
