Ferrovial Chile is using Dalux in the construction of the Edificio Vicuña Mackenna 20 for the Universidad de Chile. The building will host the Institute of Public Affairs, the Center for Cultural Artistic Extension, the Institute of International Studies, and offices and rooms of Central Services of the University of Chile.

The 27.300 m2 project includes a building with 8 floors and 5 basement levels, with a concert hall and a dance hall, together with classrooms, a library, and offices.

Ferrovial Chile decided to use Dalux as the best tool to support their BIM coordination. The ability to make the 3D BIM models accessible to all the people involved in the project and the intuitiveness and user-friendliness of Dalux has been a huge advantage to Ferrovial in the VM20 project. By using Dalux, Ferrovial is also stepping up as a pioneer in the implementation of BIM methodology on construction sites in a more complete way.

The use of Augmented Reality gives us a great competitive advantage compared to other construction companies since it allows us to improve our on-site facility reviews and improve coordination processes. In addition, the platform allows us to better manage information and reduce downtime, streamlining consultation processes Valentina Villanueva
